Contract From America Senators To Filibuster Gun Control

Gun control has been a hot topic in Washington, as liberals intend to severely restrict our second amendment rights. This is a core amendment to our Constitution and therefore a key tenet to upholding the Contract From America as well. So it is no surprise that Contract signers Senators Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Mike Lee wrote a letter to Harry Reid today saying they will filibuster "any legislation that will serve as a vehicle for any additional gun regulations."
This is a bold move by a group of Senators who wear their conservative credentials on their sleeve and won't back down from an unpopular fight. This pack of tea party conservatives is igniting the base in ways we haven't seen since 2010!
It is a testament to the great work you all have done to hold politicians who have signed the Contract From America to their word. Wherever you stand on second amendment, the Constitution does not mince words and neither does the CFA.
